Delete Your Data
Last updated: September 17, 2026
1. Who this is for
This page covers BoothHQ, including the BoothHQ mobile app (io.boothhq.app), published by The Web Design Hub. Anyone who has used BoothHQ can ask us to delete their information: event organizers, their staff, exhibitors, attendees and competitors.
2. How to ask
Email privacy@boothhq.io from the email address you use with BoothHQ, with the subject “Delete my data”. Tell us:
- the email address on your BoothHQ account, ticket, booth order or staff pass
- the event name, if you attended or exhibited at one
- whether you want everything deleted, or only a particular event’s information
We reply within 5 business days and complete deletions within 30 days. We may ask one question to confirm it’s really your address before we delete anything.
3. What gets deleted
- Your account, name, email address and phone number
- Tickets, confirmation codes, check-in records and competition entries
- Exhibitor listings, logos, staff passes and scanned leads
- Saved sessions and exhibitors from your plan
- Notification settings and the record of the phone you signed in on
4. What we keep, and for how long
A few things have to stay, and they are kept no longer than is needed:
- Records of payments and refunds, for up to 7 years, because tax and accounting law requires them. Card details are held by Stripe, never by BoothHQ.
- Information an event organizer needs for their own records, such as who attended their event. If you ask us to delete that, we pass your request to the organizer, who is responsible for their own attendee records.
- Anonymous counts, such as how many people attended an event, which can’t identify you.
5. Deleting the app
Removing the app from your phone signs you out and clears anything saved on the device, such as a downloaded guest list, but it does not delete your information from BoothHQ. Email us as above for that.
